Meet Cara...
Cara is a calm and empathetic speech pathologist who enjoys working with young people and their families as they navigate their way through the speech pathology assessment and therapy process. Cara holds a Bachelor of Science (Speech Pathology) from Curtin University and a Graduate Certificate in Autism Diagnosis from the University of Western Australia. In her final year of undergraduate study, Cara was awarded a position on Curtin University's Vice Chancellor's list for the top 1% of students across the university.
Cara has extensive experience in providing assessment and therapy services to a diverse range of infants, children and adolescents with complex communication profiles. Throughout her career, Cara has worked at Princess Margaret Hospital, Perth Children’s Hospital, the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service and in private practice. She has also worked as a Volunteer Speech Pathologist for Mercy Ships in Sierra Leone. Cara is passionate about providing a safe and caring environment for those that she works with.
